me
- rawwwwr!!!
- i live the simple life so to speak, but a bit of an eccentric one. i have an extensive vintage my little pony collection and shelves of only the geekiest lunch boxes around. nerd? perhaps. really i love to collect anything vintage and i enjoy being a big kid entirely too much. i love to sew and make cute things. i am vegetarian; i love to cook and bake. i try and be conscious of the decisions i make in this life. i recycle. i reuse. i compost. i try to live as plastic free as possible. hippy? no. hippies never looked this good in a 50's dress and high heels.

my first custom pony!
well, I have been done my first custom for...well...a while now. I've been a bit shy about posting her for some reason. I don't want to suck, I guess. Please don't tell me I suck! constructive criticism only please!
so first, I will tell you a bit about her. She was originally a Toola Roola with a badly rubbed symbol and tail rust. She has been rehaired using hair from custompony.com. I really had no vision for her when I started, but I did know that I wanted her to have rooted bangs, as I think those are just the cutest. i think I would do them differently next time, as I made them really thick and so they don't lay quite the way i wanted them too...in fact all of her hair turned out really thick and the only way to keep it down, was to wrap it up in a bun, which I actually like, even though I had not thought to do that in the beginning, it was more of a necessity than anything, but anyways, i like it up like that. I didn't take any of her original eye paint off to be redone. Just left it the way it was because, being my first, I wasn't 100% sure I was quite ready for that, but will give it a go on the next time around. Her symbol. i picked a cupcake. I was thinking a cupcake, but then my friend made some yummy vegan cupcakes and that made it official. and honestly, who doesn't love cupcakes??
I kept it really simple, didn't want to jump in the deep end quite yet, so I hope you like her. She has no name yet.
